AHKC Level 1 Adjusting Purpose: Provide doctors and students with a comprehensive foundation in Advanced HIO Knee‑Chest (AHKC) adjusting — integrating anatomy, neurology, biomechanics, and reproducible technique using the Simmons Angle Table and S‑Angle system.
Core Learning Objectives By the end of Level 1, participants will be able to:
- Explain the History of Dave Palmer and the historical development of the Knee‑Chest approach.
- Describe the significance of the Upper Cervical spine and its role in whole‑body function.
- Understand the biomechanics of the Upper Cervical spine, including joint motion, alignment, and corrective forces.
- Identify the musculature of the Upper Cervical region and its relationship to alignment and stabilization.
